At the core of MGS is Michael Suarez, who was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Suarez started playing baseball when he was young, an experience that helped him learn valuable lessons about discipline and working with others as a team. He eventually received an athletic scholarship to attend Florida International University for his undergraduate studies. As a student athlete, Suarez decided to major in criminal justice and took courses critical to mastering excellence in the public sector, including Criminal Justice and Minorities. While there, he built a rapport with the school’s Chief of Police, who later encouraged him to consider law enforcement as a career. Suarez, who had always admired the force and its heroes, ultimately decided to become one of them.

Since then, Suarez has been recognized time and again for his unyielding dedication to his duty, his comrades, and the people he protects. He was the first West Palm Beach (WPB) officer assigned to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, where he apprehended the most violent criminals during his 10-year assignment. He also served on the WPB SWAT team for 15 years, as well as the Intelligence Lead Tactical Team, which worked in conjunction with the Police Department’s Real-Time Crime Center. After being promoted to the rank of Sergeant, Suarez was hand-picked for the mayor’s initiative of operation, “The First 48,” which was a multi-agency effort against violent, gang-related crimes. Following Suarez’s 25 years of training and experience on the force, he was afforded the opportunity to use his skills in the private sector. Suarez formed MGS with the goal of providing personalized, professional services for its clients.
